Communication Skills – Do your communication skills “fizzle out” when you’re under stress or dealing with a difficult person? Learn the tricks of the trade in improving your communication, thus tapping into your potential within.
Ethics – “We didn’t start the fire” but the planet is ever-changing and we will blaze a trail much easier if we stay informed about policies and legal issues. Some days you may even wonder what happened to ethics in this crazy world of ours! Find some solutions from our entertaining presenter.
Writing, Grammar, Proofreading – Maybe you don’t want the title of “Editor Nazi,” but we should each strive to present ourselves and especially our schools, districts, and universities in the best possible light. Of all the many businesses to be associated with, we as educational office professionals should be the most informed, sterling examples of correct grammar usage, spelling, consistency, letter format, etc. After attending this workshop, you’ll be sure to start humming, “Light My Fire”!
Writing Winning Resumes & Interviewing Skills – “Fire up” to tap into more of your potential. If you’re looking at upgrading your employment level, this is the workshop for you. Our presenter has a myriad of tips and ideas to add that needed “spark” to an aging, over-used, dated resume; and the interviewing advice will stand you in good stead for the future.
Mock Interviews – “If you can’t stand the heat . . .” then maybe you need this workshop to loosen up and feel more relaxed rather than being grilled in an actual interview situation. Have the courage to feel the fear and yet forge ahead to accomplish your task.

Choose three classes to attend – mark your choices on the registration form.
iPad – Stop relying on grandkids to teach you the ins and outs of the iPad and attend this informative workshop that will put you on the path of being in the know. Talk about “potential”! This devise can do much, much more than you think; and so can you. Fire up and attain all the skills and knowledge that you can.
ePortfolios – This class explores the digitized collection of resources, accomplishments, and demonstrations that represent an individual, group or institution. We’ll focus on the individual going through a job search or a job evaluation and show how ePortfolio can be a great benefit, showing what the individual can do or has already accomplished. I can just feel our Potentials Igniting!
Internet Safety – Adele may be setting “fire to the rain,” but we should agree that when on the internet, we want to be safe and avoid playing with fire. Learn how to be smart and protect yourself from being burned.
Outlook – What a wonderful tool to organize, plan, and utilize to our advantage. Are we using Outlook’s full potential? Probably not. Join us to learn everything you wanted to know and then some regarding this “sizzling” subject.
Tech-enhanced Communication – We will discover a variety of topics ranging from Google Docs and Calendar to Social Media (mostly Facebook and Twitter), to web 2.0 tools for communication and collaboration such as Nota, Doodle Polls, Prezi, etc. I’m dying to learn what the “etc.” encompasses!
Power Point – Discover how you can be the pyro-technic guru of the Power Point set. Your presentations will spark the attention of your audience (or your boss) and fan the flames of understanding of others. Stretch to be your most energetic self.
