GREETINGS! And a hearty welcome from the mighty states of NAEOP’s Central Area! Our area is comprised of six states of the great nation we live in right in the central part of the United States.

CHALLENGES! Allie Faye Matthews, CEOE, NAEOP President, has challenged us to bring out the best in ourselves and each other…to embrace the four facets our founders built this association on. If we work to provide service, information, recognition and fellowship, we will help not only ourselves but others emerge and become the best we can be...professionally and personally.

MEMBERSHIP! Being a member of NAEOP means you have chosen to become a part of the only association in the United Stated dedicated to the growth and professional development of educational office professionals. Through NAEOP and Central Area, you will have the opportunity to network with educational office professionals from throughout the United States.

STATE CONFERENCES! Each of the Central Area states offer a fall and/or spring workshop or conference for educational office professionals. We invite you to join us at any of the following state events:

CENTRAL AREA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT DAY! Each year, one of the six states of the Central Area is given the opportunity to host the Central Area Professional Development Day (CAPDD). This is usually done in conjunction with their annual state conference. The event offers another tremendous opportunity to experience a litany of speakers and workshops that enhance our professional development as educational office professionals.

We are excited to have Kansas host the 2012 Central Area Professional Development Day/Kansas State Conference. It will be held in Olathe, Kansas, on April 26-28, 2012. More information will be posted in the near future.

We’d like to extend an invitation to all Central Area and NAEOP members to join us at the conference. We also welcome any educational office professional who is interested in finding out more about our associations. Mark your calendars now and plan to attend!
