GREETINGS! Welcome to the North Central Area
web site. If you are new to NAEOP I encourage you to take time
to browse our website. There is a wealth of information for
the educational office professional to assist in your professional
development, and your personal growth.
“Seeing the Best in You Emerge!”
was selected as this year’s theme and the butterfly as
the symbol, by President Allie Faye Matthews, CEOE. We as office
professionals are always working at doing our best, being our
best and striving to achieve our goals. Our challenge in the
North Central area is to increase our membership and to encourage
members to renew their memberships. We need to encourage new
employees to join our organization and to be active in our state
AEOP and NAEOP. Also, I challenge those of you who do not have
your Professional Standards Program (PSP) Certificate and Certified
Educational Office Employee (CEOE) distinction to work at achieving
this as a goal. Louise Henderson Nelson, NAEOP founder, believed
that every office professional should have the opportunity to
grow and evolve. When we work hard at our goals we can break
out of our cocoons and emerge as a beautiful butterfly soaring
to new heights.
BENEFITS! The benefits that NAEOP has to offer
are insurmountable, especially during these difficult times
that face all of us. Explore the membership section at the website
and see what these benefits can do for you.
MEMBERSHIP! When you join NAEOP and you reside
and work in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and South Dakota
you automatically become a member in the North Central Area.
Be sure you take the time to review the whole NAEOP website
and see the list of possibilities to continue our professional
growth. I also want to encourage all educational office professionals
to join this wonderful organization.
JOIN US: October 2, 2011 – October, 4,
2011 for the MAEOP Annual Fall Conference in Duluth, Minnesota.
This is a great opportunity to meet our new President Allie
Faye Matthews. For further information regarding the conference
