GREETINGS! Welcome to the Northwest
Area web page. We are 997 members strong! This is a little down
from last year so let’s see what we can do to increase this
number. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if the Northwest Area membership
was over 1,100!
YOU can make this happen
by renewing YOUR membership and then inviting a few new people
to join you.
CHALLENGES! The profession we are in is ever changing
and expanding as we take on more responsibility. As a professional
– and that is what we are – we should be proud that
we have an Association that is 75+ years strong and is here to
help and guide us. We should all take full advantage of the only
national professional organization that is available for those
who serve in this profession. Meet your challenge and develop
professionally by utilizing all tools available to you through
NAEOP. Earn your Professional Standards Program (PSP) certificate
and Certified Educational Office Employee (CEOE) distinction.
This is one very visible way to show your administrator(s) and
your fellow professionals you are a true professional! This will
allow not only you but others to “see the best in you emerge.”
BENEFITS! The benefits available through NAEOP
are yours for the taking. You can see the best in you emerge
by participating actively, getting involved with a committee,
and sharing your talents; you will help further the mission
of NAEOP and reap the benefits there for you. Don’t forget
about the networking as this is one place where we all benefit.

MEMBERSHIP! NAEOP is here to help. All too
often we ask what’s in it for me, when maybe we should
be asking ourselves what do I have to offer. I am a firm believer
of “in order to get, you have to give.” I believe
you will get more out of being a member by becoming actively
involved by sharing your knowledge with other EOPs.
