Welcome
to the first website newsletter. If you missed being
in Charleston, South Carolina for the 2011 NAEOP
Annual Conference and Institute, you were missed;
and we hope to see you in California in 2012.
If you are a member of the South
Central Area reading this, please give yourself
a big applause. If you are not, then I encourage
you to join NAEOP and know what it feels like to
belong to a group of phenomenal individuals.
Let’s see the best in you emerge.
At the present time, we are 545 strong in members
and have 17 affiliates in the South Central Area.
I want to challenge each South
Central area member to find a co-worker or someone
in the education field and let them know how great
it is to belong to an organization like NAEOP. Better
still give them the NAEOP website address and let
them take a look at all that NAEOP has to offer.
You might just be the person that brings a new member
into the South Central Area, but better still into
NAEOP.

As
a member of the National Association of Educational
Office Professionals (NAEOP) you will have the opportunity
to attend academic programs, institutes and conferences
that will enhance your professional growth. You
will also have the ability to take progressive steps
toward your individual growth. The Professional
Standards Program (PSP) is geared toward making
your professional growth a reality. The PSP certificate
is based on fulfilling requirements in three areas:
education, experience, and professional activities.
Visit the NAEOP website and click on the PSP link,
or contact the National Office for more detailed
information on receiving your PSP certification
and/ or CEOE distinction.
I have set a goal of sending out
a monthly newsletter to all members and affiliates
in order to keep them up to date on what is going
on in the South Central area. I would like to encourage
each member and affiliate to send me any information
on what is going on in your association or affiliate.
