Administrative Council

2008-2009

Explore the many facets of leadership through Administrative Council!

GREETINGS! Welcome to the Administrative Council web site. If you are new to our association, I encourage you to take time to browse the entire NAEOP web site. NAEOP offers educational office professionals a multitude of professional and personal growth opportunities.

CHALLENGES! NAEOP President Linda Tribble has selected “Explore the Facets of NAEOP” as her theme, which encourages all of us to promote the four points of our national association – Information, Service, Recognition, and Fellowship. Her symbol is the diamond – the ultimate gemstone having few weaknesses and much strength. The Administrative Council welcomes each of you to join with us as we explore the many facets of our world and grow stronger as an educational office professional.

MEMBERSHIP! When you join NAEOP, you have joined an elite group of educational office professionals that are constantly striving to improve their skills and expand their horizons. As a NAEOP member, if you work in administration, you automatically become a member of Administrative Council. Be sure to explore the list of benefits available to all members on the Membership page.

BENEFITS! Our profession is ever changing and expanding as we take on more responsibility in our jobs. We encourage you to join with us as we move forward and explore new and better ways to become more efficient and grow professionally.

Leadership is not so much about technique and methods as it is about opening the heart. Leadership is about inspiration – of oneself and of others. Great leadership is about human experiences, not processes. Leadership is not a formula or a program. It is a human activity that comes from the heart and considers the hearts of others. It is an attitude, not a routine.
