Elementary Council
2011 - 2012
“Seeing the Best in You Emerge”

WELCOME to the Elementary Council Website! I invite you to become a member of the National Association of Educational Office Professionals and the Elementary Council, the only national professional association for educational office personnel. If you are new to our association, please take a moment to visit the entire NAEOP website. NAEOP has many wonderful opportunities and the time is now for you to invest in yourself. Being involved brings you enhanced, professional development, networking, and achievement in future endeavors.

THEME: NAEOP President Allie Faye Matthews, CEOE, has selected as her 2011-2012 theme: “Seeing the Best in You Emerge.” Her symbol is a butterfly. As we know, butterflies are the result of a process from caterpillar to cocoon and finally emerging as a butterfly. Each one of us goes through a growth process and what can emerge is as beautiful as a butterfly. As we follow the dream of Louise Henderson Nelson, NAEOP Founder and NAEOP President Allie Faye Matthews, let’s discover new depths in ourselves as we spread the message of NAEOP.

"Somehow I can't believe there are any heights that can't be scaled by a man who knows the secret of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four C's. They are Curiosity, Confidence, Courage, and Constancy and the greatest of these is Confidence. When you believe a thing, believe it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably." Walt Disney
