“NAEOP Stars Coast to Coast”
WELCOME to the NAEOP Northeast Area webpage! As an office professional from any of the states listed above, you automatically become a member of the Northeast Area by joining or renewing your NAEOP membership. As a member, you have access to a nationwide network of those who walk with you on this amazing journey to professional growth.
If this is your first time visiting the NAEOP website, I encourage you to take a few minutes and check out several of the links listed on the homepage. Whether you are a NAEOP member or not, take the time to get to know more about our association and all we have to offer. If you are a NAEOP member, thank you! I recommend you review the information located in our “Members Only” link and that you sign up for the NAOEP Listserv. Both of these are great ways to keep in touch with what’s happening in our association. If you are not yet a member, why not? Contact me and I’d be happy to explain the details of the benefits of becoming a NAEOP member.
Many of the state associations in our area have fall conferences planned and/or are in the process of finalizing spring conferences. As these conferences are planned, I will do my best to keep you informed, to give you the opportunity to participate in some professional development opportunities in your area. If you are a member of a state affiliation planning a conference/workshop, please send me your information so I can include it on this webpage and in our Northeast Area newsletter.
This year, NAEOP President Cathy Eberle has chosen as her theme, “NAEOP Stars Coast to Coast.” With that in mind, and in lieu of one big Professional Development Day for the entire area, this year I will be offering to go to each state in our area and offer a day of professional development for our members and our colleagues who are not yet members. I would proudly share what NAEOP has to offer to our colleagues who are not already members.
This webpage and the Northeast Area Newsletter that you will be receiving each quarter as a NAEOP member, is designed for you – the members of NAEOP. I encourage you to communicate with me any newsletter ideas or topics you would like to have me research and then share with our colleagues. Please feel free to contact me – I’d love to hear from you!
